Creating Rooms
Rooms allow you to create dedicated spaces within Teamflow for meetings, project documents, or even your own personal office.
In this article we show you how to:
- How to create a room
- On side the sidebar, click + Add Rooms and then click Create a room from the dropdown menu
- A window will appear where you can choose the template that matches the meeting or intended use case for the room.
- Select the template you would like to use and then enter what you would like the room to be called.
- Press create new space to create the room. This will also take you inside the room.
- On side the sidebar, click + Add Rooms and then click Create a room from the dropdown menu
- How to change the name of your room
- To rename the room, find the room on the left side bar and hover over the label.
- You will see three dots appear to the right of the label.
- Click on the three dots and select rename.
- Type in the new name of the room and hit enter.
- How to create a portal to your room
- First click on your #Room Name and then the Customize Space button from the dropdown menu.
- Scroll down within the furniture tab, to the rooms category.
- Click on one of the room tiles to place it down on the main floor.
- A window will appear asking you which room you'd like to connect it to. Click Connect next to the room you'd like to use.
- The portal to the room will appear next to you. You can click and drag the portal to move it to the desired location on your main floor.
- You can also resize the portal by clicking and dragging on one of the four corners of the object.
- Click on the checkmark to save your changes.
- First click on your #Room Name and then the Customize Space button from the dropdown menu.
- How to set the orientation of the room's door
- To rotate a room, click on the room in customize mode, and click on the rotate icons to change the direction of the room.
- Once complete, click on the checkmark to save changes.
- Don't forget to hit Save & Exit at the top of your screen when you're done.
